The Balloon Moulding Machine produces balloons for angioplasty using the water bath process.
The machine is equipped with product holders for the simultaneous production of up to four balloons. The extruded balloon tube is held in a three-part balloon mold. This form is fixed with a clamp, which is equipped with the weights necessary for the forming process. The balloon tube is pressurized and heated up to 96 °C in water. A cooling tank is used to cool the mould and product. The relevant process parameters are entered and stored as a data set via a touch display.
